Welcome to Knert Software!

Knert Software is a small indie game development company. Our mission is to create beautiful, casual, connected, easy use software and games. We believe that simple user interfaces with less clutter make a better experience for the user and instead of throwing another button on the screen ask ourselves: "can we do this better?". Often we can, it just takes a little more effort to make something simple. 

To date we have launched two titles: PegLight and TaskBurn. The PegLight series is about creating art with primitive shapes such as circles, squares, triangles and stars. TaskBurn is a free Mac App that spruces up the normal boring todo list manager with some fire. Sick of just checking off tasks? Maybe you should try lighting them on fire instead with TaskBurn.

We are currently working hard on a new title using Unity3d. More to come soon!
